Macmillan Cancer Support is delighted that Victoria Park AFC are using their club fundraising activities to raise money for Macmillan as well as the team.
“We’re delighted that Victoria Park AFC has chosen to support us in this way,” said Kirsten Bruce, Macmillan Cancer Support’s Fundraising Manager for Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire. “The money that the team raises will go towards Macmillan’s Glasgow Appeal, which includes three specialist nursing posts based at the Beatson West of Scotland Centre, which will help to make a big difference to the lives of people affected by cancer across the west of Scotland.”
If you, your team or place of work would like to help Victoria Park AFC support Macmillan, please give whatever help you can manage in their fundraising efforts. They’re looking for raffle and auction prizes for their forthcoming Legends Day in August, and they’d also appreciate your sponsorship for taking part in the jogscotland 5K on 9 July at Glasgow Green.
