As the SAFA has received a substantial amount of emails from users protesting over the closure of the SAFA Amateur Football Forum, a request has been made to the SAFA Executive for a temporary stay of closure for the purposes of compiling a fairer case for the benefits of the Forum following the decision of Council to take necessary action regarding abuse of the Forum on Friday 14th November 2008. Subsequently, the necessary action taken will be to appoint emergency moderators to ensure acceptable behaviour by users are maintained on the Forum and to remind all users that the SAFA Code Of Conduct is enforced on the website, and any user found breaching these terms and conditions will automatically be banned and face SAFA disciplinary action. Based on the large number of user comments received, the importance and benefits of the SAFA Amateur Football Forum will be made in formal application to the Finance & General Purposes Committee for further consideration in due course.
